Angry Birds for Facebook [officially known as Angry Birds Friends] has finally come out of beta testing and is freely available at facebook as facebook app. Apart from share and likes, the biggest viral feature of this app is it’s ‘Weekly Tournaments’. You can play tournaments with your friends and win trophy. Plus Rovio announced that it will release new levels every week just for tournament module.

Think you’re the best Angry Birds player around? Prove it with new weekly tournaments! Every week, you have from Monday to Sunday to compete with your friends on four different levels. The pig-popper with the best overall score will earn a gold trophy, with silver and bronze for second and third place. Unlike crowns, trophies are yours forever! How many can you collect?

Earn more power-ups
In addition to the daily rewards you already get, you can now earn power-ups through tournament mode. Earn three power-ups bundles for a gold trophy, two for silver, and one for bronze. You also get a power-up for each tournament level you play, and one for participating in the tournament!
